Dave Edwards has said Romain Saiss being available to face Manchester United for Wolves is ‘great news’.
The Morocco international will be available for selection for the next Premier League game.

An agreement was reached recently allowing clubs to release players for AFCON after January 3.
Wolves take on United at Molineux at 5.30pm next Monday.
There had initially been some concern that Saiss would not be able to play.

But thankfully he’ll be available, and former Wolves midfielder Edwards sees that as a major boost for Bruno Lage.
He said writing for the Express & Star: “Romain Saiss being available is great news.
“He has been excellent all season but has hit particularly good form recently, so he’ll be a miss when he does go.

“But him playing that Manchester United game is very important because it’s a game that Wolves can go and win – it’s not like playing the same Manchester United as my time in the Premier League.
“To do that, they need a good defensive base with Romain Saiss.”
Currently, Wolves have the third-best defensive record in the Premier League.
Only Manchester City and Chelsea have conceded fewer goals. Saiss has played a key role in that solidity, something not too many people saw coming ahead of 2021/22.
Edwards is right – Romain Saiss available for Manchester United clash is massive
The importance of Saiss being available against Manchester United cannot be overstated.
Wolves have done so well as a defensive united this term.

Any one of the three centre-halves coming out of the backline at this point would potentially be very significant.
The Kilman-Coady-Saiss trio seems to have a fantastic understanding.
Hopefully whoever comes in for Saiss after the United clash steps up to the challenge.
