Wolves are taking on Fulham today and Matt Doherty is missing from the matchday squad, with the defender missing out through injury.
The Old Gold are looking to give the fans a performance in the last home game.
Wolves have been on an awful run since the last international break, and the 3-0 defeat to Brighton was particularly woeful.
Let’s hear your predictions for Wolves’ final home game of the season vs Fulham?
Defeat here would see Wolves equal a club record of 25 losses in a single campaign 🥴
Rob Edwards called the players out after it, and supporters are expecting a major improvement today.
But one man who will not be part of things is Matt Doherty.
Matt Doherty misses Wolves vs Fulham due to injury
Speaking ahead of the game, Rob Edwards confirmed that Doherty misses out today having been dealing with a knee injury.
He said (via E&S): “It’s just his knee issue, it’s been an ongoing thing that we wanted to try and settle down for the next couple of weeks.
“He has been feeling it for quite a long time and going through that for us, so it’s important we try to settle that down.”
Edwards did say that the plan had been to get him back for the last couple of games.
He also called Doherty ‘a big player for us’.

Doherty may have already played last Wolves game
So with Doherty missing out today, it may well be that Doherty has played his last game for Wolves.
The defender’s contract is up at the end of the season, and it’s possible he might not be fit for the last game against Burnley.
Fans will no doubt be looking out for any signs Doherty could be on his way when the players take to the pitch after the game.
If it is to be the end for him, then Doherty will go with best wishes of Wolves fans everywhere.
He has given incredible service to the club and has always been someone who’s tried to uphold standards and drive professionalism.
