Wolves’ attacking performance was flat as they drew 0-0 with struggling Norwich at Carrow Road.
There was plenty of patient passing but not many chances to score. Daniel Podence has Covid and was ruled out but Bruno Lage brought in Francisco Trincao ahead of Adama Traore.
Darren Bent was covering the game for Sky Sports Soccer Saturday and said he thought Trincao played better than Traore.

“Adama Traore came on and you’d expect more from him,” said Bent.
“He came on and you could see Bruno Lage screaming at him from the touchline because he kept trying to dribble but kept giving the ball away.
“His form has really deserted him. Hwang, I thought was good today. Hwang played on the left of a front three but I think he wants to play as a centre-forward or in a two.
“They aren’t creating enough opportunities but you know if they do, Raul Jimenez will take them.”

It is fair to say that both Trincao and Traore were underwhelming, but so were Hwang Hee-Chan and Raul Jimenez.
It was just one of those days for Wolves, where nothing seemed to click and the performance lacked something.
Traore is usually capable of providing a spark but was unable to do so, and Bent’s fellow pundit Joleon Lescott said it was ‘strange‘ that the Spaniard was coming inside so often.
