Wolves have had plenty of exits at the club so far this summer.
Vitor Pereira has expressed his concerns about how Wolves’ summer has gone so far, with several big names departing.
Matheus Cunha was always going to leave, and he joined Manchester United on the day the window opened.
Rayan Ait-Nouri was another likely outgoing, with the Algerian heading to Manchester City.
Wolves have also seen several players leaving as free agents, including Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Nelson Semedo. Pereira as good as announced that Semedo isn’t signing a new contract, with Marc Pubill set to come in as his replacement.
There have also been some players departing on loan, including Tommy Doyle and Nasser Djiga.
Yesterday, yet another player left Wolves and it has kind of gone under the radar, with Bastien Meupiyou signing for Portuguese outfit FC Alverca.
Bastien Meupiyou completes permanent move to Alverca after just one year at Wolves

Meupiyou was signed by Wolves from Nantes last summer, with the player arriving a couple of days before deadline day.
The Frenchman actually arrived carrying an injury, so initially it was about him getting back fit again.
After recovering though, Meupiyou sadly struggled to convince both Gary O’Neil and Vitor Pereira to give him minutes.
He made five straight matchday squads for Wolves in December moving into early January, and was also part of the squad to face Bristol City in the FA Cup third round.
But he never played a minute, and after the Bristol fixture he didn’t make another matchday squad.
A few days ago it was claimed Meupiyou was set to join Alverca on loan.
On Monday, FC Alverca announced that they had officially signed Meupiyou from Wolves, although it was unclear as to what kind of move this was.
Amid the uncertainty, Molineux News contacted Alverca’s press office for clarity, and they confirmed to us that Meupiyou has joined them on a permanent basis, and not on loan as has been reported in other places.
In the last moments, Wolves have now confirmed this move, stating ‘there is a clause in the defender’s contract for Wolves to re-sign him in the future’.

Disappointment for Wolves over Meupiyou
Some had been hoping to see Meupiyou in first-team action for Wolves.
At the time of his move to Molineux, former sporting director Matt Hobbs said of him: “He’s very physical, very strong, very quick. But also, he’s played a lot at six, a lot at left-back as well,” the club’s sporting director explained.
“It’s not often you can find a big, physical profile that comes with the ability to play on the ball and to play in all those positions.
“He fits what we think a Premier League player looks like. There’s no pressure on him, he’s a young boy, and we’ll look forward to seeing how he develops over the next couple of years.”
Unfortunately, it has just not worked out for Meupiyou, who has moved on after just one year.
The details of the contract he has signed are not yet clear, and neither is the fee for which he has moved.
But certainly, his £4.2 million transfer to Wolves will be deemed poor business.
Hopefully, the 19-year-old can find a new lease of life with Alverca over in Portugal.
