Wolves target Burnley winger Luca Koleosho

It will be difficult for Wolves to identify a direct replacement for the talent of Neto however, O’Neil could soon capture a positional equal to the 24-year-old.

Thomas confirmed Wolves’ admiration for the player by saying, “Wolves very much interested in signing Luca Koleosho from Burnley before the deadline.”

Koleosho could be an encouraging Pedro Neto replacement

Still only 19, there is a lot of maturing for Koleosho to do before he can be considered as an equal to Neto however, signing the winger would be a smart move from Wolves.

Despite being part of a Burnley side that finished bottom of the Premier League table last term, the teen still managed to impress when he was involved in Vincent Kompany’s plans.

The wide player, who is utilised on the left side for Burnley, stood out as one of the best 1v1 wingers in the league last season, where he was actually statistically comparable to Neto, via FBref.

Averaging a stellar 3.05 successful take-ons per 90, the Italian ranked in the top 7% of wingers in the Premier League, telling of his fearless nature going forward.

Only time will tell how badly Wolves want to sign the youngster, and what price Burnley will demand in order to part ways with the 2004-born ace.
