The 18-year-old has impressed for Universidad de Chile in recent times.

He made his debut for the first-team last year, and got his first cap for Chile last month.

Wanderers are reported to be keen to tie up a deal for the highly rated South American, amid interest from several sides including Sevilla and Brighton.

But given the potential of Osorio, he is also on Pep Guardiola’s radar at Manchester City.

And Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid have also been informed of him.

Wolves are said to want to take him to the Premier League ‘right away’, and Corriere also say that the club have offer £5 million.

Osorio is now ‘waiting for the signal’. Presumably, that means he is waiting to see if his club will accept that £5 million offer.

Osorio is a winger, capable of playing on either flank.

It would be interesting to see if this would be a signing for the academy or the first-team. He may only be 18, but Osorio is seriously coveted and Wolves may look to get him involved with Bruno Lage’s squad.

The club have lost Chiquinho for the foreseeable future, after he suffered an ACL injury against Burnley last weekend.

Wolves must work quickly to sign Dario Osorio with multiple clubs circling

Osorio is attracting a fair bit of attention right now, meaning Wolves need to work quickly to land the talented youngster.

Clubs like City and Madrid are bound to appeal.

But Wolves do offer a clear pathway to the first-team, and that is something that may help to convince him.

Youngsters like Rayan Ait-Nouri, Toti Gomes, Fabio Silva and Luke Cundle have had chances under Bruno Lage.

Perhaps the chance to feature in the Premier League as soon as possible is something that will swing it for him.
