Wolves are set to enter the new season with Julen Lopetegui at the helm, after the Spaniard held decision talks with the club – but three players could now be heading for the exit.
The Spaniard’s future has been up in the air for the past couple of weeks.
Lopetegui had been concerned about Wolves’ financial situation, with reports indicating that the club needed to sell players to balance the books.
Wolves have concerns over FFP, which Lopetegui claims he was initially unaware of.
But now, it would appear Lopetegui is staying at the club. But three Wolves players are apparently now free to leave the club.
Wolves trio Daniel Podence, Jose Sa and Rayan Ait-Nouri free to depart this summer
The Telegraph have reported about Lopetegui staying at the club.
And in John Percy’s report, it is also claimed that three players could now be heading for the exit.
They are Daniel Podence, Jose Sa, and Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Podence finished last season as Wolves’ joint-top scorer, but again struggled for consistency. He now has a year left on his contract.
Jose Sa had real trouble living up to the standards he set in his first season.
And Ait-Nouri really struggled for game time in 2023, with Lopetegui overlooking him for a string of matchday squads towards the end of the season.
Big changes afoot at Wolves, but thankfully Lopetegui is staying
This is a very interesting update from Percy, who is reliable when it comes to Wolves.
It is stated in the report that up to £80 million could be made through player sales this summer.
One wonders how much these three would bring in, on top of Ruben Neves who is set to be the biggest sale. Wolves want around £45 million for their skipper.
Ait-Nouri is perhaps the player who would bring in the most money of the three.

He’s got huge potential, but seemingly Lopetegui does not fancy him.
Podence – who signed for Wolves for about £17 million – will not fetch a huge amount given he’s only got a year left.
And Sa has struggled this season and his poor form may mean Wolves would sell for much more than they bought him for (around £7 million).
