PSV Eindhoven have reportedly reached an agreement with Wolves to take Ki-Jana Hoever on loan for the 2022/23 season.
According to ED, the 20-year-old is to join up with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side in a bid to get his career kickstarted.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed the deal is done, and that the player will have his medical this week.
ED say it is currently unclear whether an option to buy clause has been negotiated.
The news comes after Hoever endured another frustrating campaign at Molineux.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
The youngster made just 12 appearances in 2021/22, with Nelson Semedo again the preferred choice at right wing-back.
Semedo really shone for Wolves, leaving very few opportunities for Hoever to stake his claim to become a starter.
Hoever then picked up an injury against Crystal Palace in March, which meant he couldn’t prove himself. Jonny Castro Otto then played on the right, with Semedo also out injured at the time.

After that game with Palace, Bruno Lage publicly slammed Hoever for his apparent lack of preparation.
He said he would get another chance under him.
But that never came, and it remains his last appearance for the club.
The right decision from Wolves with Hoever set to join PSV on loan
Wolves are making the right decision by sending Hoever out on loan to PSV.
He has hardly featured since moving to Molineux for a reported £13.5 million all in.
He is a young player that needs to play, and for the moment he cannot oust Semedo, and Lage also has Jonny and Chiquinho as alternative options.

Perhaps a move back to his homeland will do him good.
Wolves would like to hope he’ll be able to have a good stint and perhaps be ready to return and prove himself.
