Wolverhampton Wanderers look set to miss out on Rafael Leao, with reports claiming AC Milan are no longer looking to sell.
Milan News say the Rossoneri strongly believe in the player’s ability and potential.

Leao has long been linked with an exit from the club.
But it seems he’ll now be staying put as the younger alternative to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud.
It was reported in June that Wolves had interest in the player, along with Marseille and Everton.
Apparently Paolo Maldini valued the player at £25.7 million.

But it seems Leao will now not be leaving despite all the speculation.
It remains to be seen if Wolves try to bring in another forward, although given how the team has fared in pre-season so far, it is probably not a priority.
Wolves need to prioritise other areas
It doesn’t look like Leao will be completing a move to Molineux given this new information.
Arguably though, Wolves need to strengthen in other areas anyway.

A new central defender is a must, and Bruno Lage could also do with another central midfielder.
Between Fabio Silva and Raul Jimenez, with support from Adama Traore and perhaps Patrick Cutrone, Wolves should have enough up top.
