Reported Wolves transfer target Matheus Nunes apparently believes a move to the Premier League could happen at any moment.

The midfielder remains heavily linked with a move to England.

The 23-year-old is coveted by several clubs right now.

Wolves have been linked with Nunes for most of the summer, and many fans would love to see the dynamic star make a move to Molineux.

But just recently, Chelsea and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest.

It is thought that he would cost around £42 million all-in.

It has been suggested that Wolves would need to make a big sale or two in order to fund any transfer. That could now be especially true since the club have just splashed £20 million on Nathan Collins.

Wolves have not given up on signing him.

The player is supposedly of the opinion that a move to England could now happen at any given moment, according to Correio da Manha.

Nunes is reported to be ready to make the leap. Seemingly, it is just question of when, not if, he makes a move to England.

Wolves up against it to sign Matheus Nunes with Chelsea and Liverpool keen

So it seems Nunes is keen to come to the Premier League, and feels it could only be a matter of time before he makes a move.

Wolves face a huge task trying to sign him ahead of the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.

Both have need for a new box-to-box midfielder just like Wolves.

Obviously, those two clubs can both offer Champions League football in 2022/23, which will likely be a big lure for Nunes, who played in the competition last season and could play in it again if he stayed at Sporting.

Wolves will have their work cut out to sign Nunes. But given the Portuguese contingent at the club, and the fact he’d play every game game, perhaps he might just fancy it.
