The pressure is on for Wolves to sign Matheus Cunha, with other clubs having been offered the Brazilian.
Wanderers have been in talks with Atletico Madrid for a short while now.
It has been suggested by reports in Spain that Wolves have been getting closer to an agreement.
Atleti are keen to sell next month in order to raise funds.
Wolves are thought to be in pole position – but their pursuit may now have become a little more complicated.
According to 90min, the 23-year-old has actually now been offered to several other Premier League clubs.
Cunha’s representatives have been in contact with Aston Villa, Everton and Leeds United.
They have also offered him to Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
Cunha has been told by Atleti he is free to leave the club next month, provided they can bring in an appropriate fee.
Diego Simeone has plenty of other forward options including Alvaro Morata, Antoine Griezmann, Thomas Lemar, Joao Felix and Yannick Carrasco.
Potentially bad news for Wolves regarding Matheus Cunha, officials must act quickly
Reports in Spain have suggested a deal is quite close between Wolves and Atletico.
But Molineux officials need to try and close it quickly with all these other teams supposedly in the picture.
Cunha has apparently been offered to these other clubs. But there have been no suggestions that the clubs in question are actually negotiating with Atleti.
That means Wolves are still in a decent position.
Hopefully, Wanderers can make the breakthrough soon and Cunha can complete his move.
