Leeds United are reportedly still on the tail of Adama Traore and are considering making a bid.
90min claim the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger is still in their sights.
According to them, Marcelo Bielsea is a huge admirer of Traore and has been for some time.
It’s also explained that Whites director of football Victor Orta likes the Spaniard. He previously signed him for Middlesbrough back in 2016.
Orta apparently spoke with Wolves back in January about Traore, believing him to be unsettled.
He could now launch an operation to sign Traore, who has two years left on his current deal at Molineux.
At the moment Traore is enjoying some time off after going to the Euros with Spain.
One gets the feeling there will be more stories to come about him and his future once he’s back at the club.
Traore must be kept, or sold for massive money
He didn’t have his best season in 2020/21, but Wolves have got to keep Traore.
The man is a game-changer on his day, and Nuno Espirito Santo was right when he called him ‘very special’ back in March of this year.
He could potentially become better under the more attack-minded Bruno Lage.
The only reason Wolves should consider a sale is if the suitor comes in with a huge offer and Traore is keen to go.
Whether Leeds will be able to do that remains to be seen.
But another team linked with Traore in recent weeks is Chelsea; and they likely will have cash to burn.
