Wolves have been linked with the eight-cap international for a number of weeks now.

It seems any move for him this summer could be dependent on Ruben Neves being sold.

According to Correio da Manha, Lage has attempted to apply the pressure by asking officials get the deal done quickly.

It’s been claimed Everton and Newcastle United also have interest in the player, and Lage does not want to miss out on the 23-year-old.

Whether he’ll get his wish remains to be seen.
