The Merseyside outfit are looking to kick on this summer after a season of struggle in 2021/22.

The club narrowly avoided relegation and need a squad overhaul.

And they reportedly now have interest in Gibbs-White, who is stalling over signing a new contract at Molineux.

The 22-year-old has been offered fresh terms by Wanderers following his fantastic spell on loan with Sheffield United.

The club want to convince the player his future lies with Wolves, amid interest from several clubs.

Previously, Gibbs-White has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.

He has made 86 appearances, but a lot of them have been as a substitute.

He’s never really had a proper run in the team as a starter, and that is something he is keen for now.

Bruno Lage is a big fan of Gibbs-White, and never really wanted him to leave last year. And the manager was also open to him coming back to Wolves in January.

Seemingly Lage and his superiors are ready to give Gibbs-White a chance. But it remains to be seen if the youngster pushes for an exit.

He also has interest from Crystal Palace, Southampton and Nottingham Forest.

Lampard factor makes Everton interest concerning if Wolves want to keep Gibbs-White

If Everton are indeed in for Gibbs-White, then that could be a problem for Wolves if they are hoping he stays.

While they did struggle last season, Everton remain a big Premier League club.

And they are obviously managed by Frank Lampard, who would potentially be a big lure for someone like Gibbs-White.

Lampard is one of the all-time great Premier League attacking midfielders.

Potentially, he could have a really big impact on Gibbs-White, who showed last season he is a midfielder who gets in the box and score goals.
