Wolves transfer news: Abde Raihani rejects Wolves proposal

Atletico Madrid youngster Abde Raihani has reportedly rejected proposals from several clubs including Wolves in favour of renewing his contract.

According to MARCA, the teenager had offers from the table from Manchester United, Arsenal and Wanderers.

His new deal will supposedly include a release clause of £62 million.

Raihani has been making waves in Atleti’s academy this season.

He has scored 16 goals in 19 games so far. And he has hit a further three in the UEFA Youth Champions League.

The Moroccan starlet is expected to make the step up to the Atletico Madrid first-team before much longer.

It is Raihani’s desire to be successful with the Spanish club, who have always boasted great strikers leading their line down the years.

In recent times they’ve had the likes of Sergio Aguero, Diego Forlan, David Villa Fernando Torres, Radamel Falcao, Diego Costa, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez.

As well as Costa, current Wolves stars Raul Jimenez and Matheus Cunha have also played for the club.

Quite possibly, Raihani could be the next superstar at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Clearly, he has his sights set on following in the footsteps of some top strikers that have played for the club.

There is no mention as to what kind of proposal was on the table from Wolves. But it will be interesting to see how he develops knowing the club have apparently tried to sign him.
