Wolves’ deadline day has been extremely busy so far as they look to get as much business done as possible.
Gary O’Neil is aiming to add to his six additions so far this summer. After a quiet few weeks in the transfer window, Wolves have sprang to life on deadline day.
Multiple incomings and outgoings are likely, with Daniel Podence being one player who could leave.
Below is all of the news coming out of Molineux so far today.
Daniel Podence

Despite O’Neil making it clear that he wants Podence to stay at the club this summer, the winger looks set to leave.
After a summer full of speculation, earlier this week it looked likely that the Portuguese attacker was going to stay at Molineux after starting against Burnley in the Carabao Cup.
However, Podence now looks set to leave Wolves and move to Saudi Arabia. It has been reported that the winger is close to moving to Al-Shabab, ending his four-and-a-half-year stay at Wolves.
Sam Johnstone

Wolves completed their sixth major signing and their first deadline day deal this morning as the club signed Sam Johnstone from Crystal Palace.
The goalkeeper made the move to the West Midlands for a reported £10 million.
Matt Hobbs was particularly pleased with the signing of Johnstone citing that he will add ‘real competition’ to the squad.

Nayef Aguerd

Wolves’ hunt for a new centre-back on deadline day has seen plenty of names linked. West Ham’s Nayef Aguerd was thought to be on Wolves’ radar as a potential Max Kilman replacement.
The defender is no longer wanted by former manager Julen Lopetegui, which could see him depart on deadline day.
However, Aguerd will not be moving to Wolves after the defender reportedly turned down the move.
Andre

One of the most anticipated deals for Wolves is the potential signing of Andre. The Brazilian international is highly rated and is expected to sign for the Old Gold today.
Wolves agreed on a deal that was potentially worth €25 million to sign the defensive midfielder.
Now, Andre is having his medical at Wolves after flying out to England last night.

Fabio Silva

The striker has not seen any success since joining Wolves. Despite joining for a record fee, Fabio Silva has continuously struggled to score goals at Molineux.
After attempts to bring him back into the fold last season failed, he is now likely to depart on deadline day.
It is believed that Las Palmas are close to signing Silva on loan, giving the striker another chance to showcase his talents.
