Wolves could be about to return their interest in Che Adams as a possible addition to the high-flying attacking ranks at Molineux.
Wolves’ attack has been improved ten-fold this season under Gary O’Neil with Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan both performing at levels we hadn’t previously seen for Wolves.
Hwang has become incredibly clinical, scoring 10 goals from just 11 shots on target which accounts for over a third of Wolves’ total goals.
Cunha has also excelled and has only failed to score or assist in two of his last eight games, prompting Paul Merson to heap praise on him.
Pedro Neto and Pablo Sarabia have also seriously stepped up their game too with both being among the assists and being very dangerous for opponents.
Now to back this group up and provide some extra firepower, £30k-a-week ace Che Adams is reportedly on the cards.

Che Adams now high on Wolves’ list
In January, Wolves are believed to be targeting more firepower to support the star players currently excelling in Gold. The departure of Hwang who is heading to the Asian Cup has highlighted just how thin the options are up top.
The player now being tipped as the ideal man to solve this is Che Adams of Southampton. Wolves were in for the Scotland international last summer before the Saints pulled the plug at the 11th hour.
But according to talkSPORT, Adams is once again high on Wolves’ list of attacking targets with his contract expiring in six months he could be a bargain.
Adams is being reconsidered now after top target Rafiu Durosinmi changed his mind on a deal which would have seen him arrive at Molineux in a £7m deal.
Che Adams 2023/24 stats
Adams is a player who is no stranger to the Premier League and should be able to fit in fairly quickly at Wolves.
But this season he’s been playing for Championship side Southampton where he has been among their key men.
He’s scored six goals and assisted two for the Saints in 21 matches – including two goals in his last two games.
He’s definitely a player who could benefit Wolves and add some serious quality in depth to O’Neil’s side.
