Wolves tell PL rivals what it’ll take to sign ‘incredible’ £50k-a-week star in January

Pedro Neto has been phenomenal for Wolves this season under Gary O’Neil, which has attracted interest from the league leaders.

Wolves are on fire right now with three wins on the bounce in the Premier League – most recently a dominating victory over Everton at Molineux.

This has left the club well and truly locked in the mid-table battle and sitting in the conversation of those coveted European positions too.

Over the past few months, the form has seen relegation become a distant concern, and it’s all been done without key man Pedro Neto, who has only just returned from an injury.

He made a cameo against Everton which saw him put the ball in the net before it was later ruled out for offside

His return has come at a vital time for Wolves with Hwang Hee-Chan heading off to the Asian Cup after being so important.

However, if two of the Premier League’s title hopefuls get their way, Wolves and Gary O’Neil could face losing Neto permanently. It’s been reported that Wolves have told suitors what they need to do to sign Neto.

Wolves set Pedro Neto demand

According to The Mirror, Wolves have little intention of letting Neto go despite Arsenal’s long-term admiration and interest with Liverpool also holding an interest.

“But it will take a massive offer to make Wolves even consider allowing their prized asset to leave – and even that might not be enough, with Gary O’Neil determined to build on what has been a bright first half to the season for the Black Country side.”

It is then emphasised that “Wolves aren’t under pressure to sell.” This is thanks to the fact Neto has a contract which runs until 2027.

This will come as excellent news to Wolves supporters who will be desperate to keep hold of the Portuguese international.

Pedro Neto stats 2023/24

This has been a real breakout season for Neto despite the fact he missed two months of action through injury.

Neto has seven assists and a goal for Wolves in just 11 appearances this campaign which is a truly phenomenal return.

With just under half a season to go, there’s no telling just how many goals and assists Neto will finish the season on if he plays as he did earlier this season.

O’Neil will be keen to have him back and could potentially start him for the first time since October when Wolves face Brentford in the FA Cup tonight.
