Wolves are pushing ahead with talks over a potential midfield addition as they aim to strengthen following Matheus Nunes’ departure.
The departure of Nunes for £53m has given the Wolves some much needed cash and motive to enter the market.
They have done so through various means, most notably their attempted swoop on Strasbourg for two of their most talented players; Habib Diarra and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
Along with this, Che Adams and Harrison Reed have found themselves targeted.
While exciting winger Enso Gonzalez and defender Santiago Bueno have both already joined the club, along with Tommy Doyle who’s joined on a loan to buy.
With all this interest, Wolves have chosen one to focus on just one of their Strasbourg talents, but which will be coming to Molineux.

Wolves return for Bellegarde
Wolves are continuing talks with Strasbourg over the potential arrival of 25-year-old Bellegarde.
This is according to Mail Sport who report that Wolves had an initial bid rejected by the French side.
It is believed this offer was for both Bellegarde and his teammate Diarra, but Old Gold have decided to only return for one.
Bellegarde is the one they’ve returned for and are now locked in talks for his signature.
Is this deal enough to cover Nunes’ departure?
The departure of Nunes to Manchester City had people worried initially however it was always going to be a positive.
Nunes for all his quality, never quite lived up to his incredible potential and therefore on-field his presence won’t be missed as much as thought.
Instead of the Portugese midfielder, Gary O’Neil will have several players in the squad added who can make a difference with different areas strengthened.
Therefore, as big sales go, this is one of the best given how heavily Wolves have and could still strengthen.
