Wolves’ Premier League status being in danger has meant their top players have been linked with moves away from the club, and midfielder Andre is the latest to join that list.
Over the last few weeks, Joao Gomes has been linked to Manchester United, but fears of the midfielder leaving have been slightly alleviated.
Despite contradicting reports elsewhere, David Ornstein has said no talks have taken place for Joao Gomes and downplayed the interest from the Red Devils.
Interestingly, there were also suggestions Andre was being monitored by Ruben Amorim as well, and the idea of both Brazilians leaving left fans frustrated.
However, remaining in England has not been the only transfer move that Andre has been linked with.

Wolves maintain hard stance on Andre for January
Football clubs coming in to test Wolves’ resolve of their star players was always going to happen with the Wanderers languishing last in the Premier League.
No player wants to be in a side that is struggling the way the Old Gold currently are, and that makes it a tempting prospect for interested parties to try to lure their important players away.
Andre is no doubt in that category of players. The Brazilian midfielder is just one of the few who have quality in this Wolves squad, and the links away from Molineux have not come as a surprise.
The situation has apparently alerted teams in the Brazilian Serie A, with one side already coming in to try to snap him up.
Brazilian journalists Diego Firmino and Felipe Lemos have reported that Palmeiras made a move for Wolves’ Andre, but the Old Gold would not even consider negotiating.
It is a hard stance by the club, and it backs up reports that Jeff Shi promised Edwards none of his star players will be sold in January.
Andre had his eyes set firmly on staying at Wolves in the long term.
Edwards will be delighted that Shi has kept his word, but that may not stop teams from coming back in.
If the Old Gold are offered extremely high fees, they may be tempted to offload some of their assets, especially if relegation looks even more likely in January.

Keeping Andre will be hard if Wolves are relegated
If Wolves go down to the Championship, most fans would not be surprised if that is when Andre departs the club.
With clubs like Manchester United lurking and holding interest, it is clear that the Premier League level is the minimum he should be playing at.
Wolves have themselves a very talented midfielder, and the lack of proper investment and smart signings has meant they have wasted the potential of having such a player at the club.
Andre is a top player on his day for Wolves
In a few years, it would not be a shock to see the Brazilian at one of Europe’s top clubs and playing in the Champions League.
And like many others of the past, it will be a case of asking what the club could have achieved if they put more quality around him.
