It is going to be a busy month for Wolves, and reports from Turkey have made a new claim about Emmanuel Agbadou.
The January transfer window will open in less than two days, and Wolves officials will seek to get the squad in order.
It is still unclear just how Wolves will attack the window. It’s been claimed players with Premier League experience will be targeted, and those looking for minutes ahead of the World Cup next year.
Wolves fans, which of these positions do Wolves need to strengthen the most urgently? 🤔 Let us know below!
These positions have been reported in a new article by Sky Sports…
But Wolves are also staring down the barrel of relegation, and the club need to consider signing players who’ll be suitable for the second tier.
There will also be players departing – and one man linked with an exit from Wolves is Emmanuel Agbadou.
He may be on AFCON duty right now with the Ivory Coast.
But that hasn’t stopped there from being speculation about his future – and now there’s been an update regarding Besiktas’ pursuit.
Besiktas failed with Emmanuel Agbadou offer

Agbadou had just started to find form again before leaving for AFCON, after a torrid start to the new season.
The central defender really did lose his way in those opening weeks of the season, and looked a liability every time he stepped onto the pitch.
But he was much better under Rob Edwards, but it remains to be seen if he’ll actually play again for Wolves.
Besiktas’ interest was reported a few weeks ago. Now Sabah say that an offer actually went in for Agbadou.
But this offer was a loan with a buy option, and Wolves rejected it. The communication for Wolves is apparently that they’d only be looking to sell Agbadou next month.

Wolves right to reject Agbadou loan offer
Wolves probably do need to get a few players off the books next month, and it may be that Agbadou does end up leaving.
But the Old Gold were right in this instance to reject Besiktas’ offer.
Were Wolves right to reject a loan offer with buy option from Besiktas for Agbadou? ❌
If he is to be sold in January, how much do you think he goes for? 🤔
A loan with an option is not particularly helpful to Wolves’ cause right now – the club need money in now to reinvest immediately.
Agbadou was bought for around £16 million and one would imagine Wolves officials will be keen to make that kind of money in any sale.
Although that said, Agbadou has had a poor season, meaning a small loss could be on the cards.
