The Daily Mail are reporting that Wolves have been offered the chance to sign Shakhtar Donetsk’s Pedrinho.

Donetsk players are in discussions over having their contracts annulled at the club, allowing them to become free agents.

Shakhtar have 12 Brazilian players and Pedrinho is among those looking into cancelling their deals amid the political situation.

He is rated at £15 million, according to the report but it remains to be seen how much they could actually demand for him in the current climate.

Everton have also been offered the midfielder but of course they may well not be a Premier League club next season.

Wolves travel to Goodison Park today, and could worsen the relegation fears being experienced by Frank Lampard’s side.

Earlier this week, Wolves were linked with a swoop for Pedrinho and now it appears they have been handed the chance to sign him.

Of course, Wolves have not been big spenders in recent windows but this could be a presentable chance to sign a player they have their eye on.

But of course the situation in Ukraine is the most important thing and it is to be hoped that it is resolved as swiftly and peacefully as possible.
