Wolves are one of the Premier League clubs who have been credited with an interest in John Swift.
The Sheffield Star report that Sheffield United were sniffing around the playmaker.
But they have resigned themselves to Swift making the move from Reading to the top flight.
Burnley and Leeds are also apparently keen on the playmaker, who has been in fine form this season.

Swift has eight goals and seven assists so far this season, for a Reading side who sit 16th in the Championship.
His contract is expiring at the end of the season, which raises the prospect of a very affordable deal.
Some Wolves fans may scoff at signing a Championship player to bolster their midfield.
But he is a ‘great player’ according to Marcelo Bielsa, who could be available at a good price during a window where Wolves will need a central midfielder.
