Wolves have reportedly made enquiries about the availability of Barcelona star Junior Firpo.
According to Spanish publication Sport, Wolves are in the hunt along with West Ham United.
Firpo has struggled for minutes at the Nou Camp since joining the club in the summer of 2019.
Injuries have not helped his cause, but also the form of Jordi Alba makes opportunities hard to come by.
Sport say Barcelona would want to sell rather than loan out, and would be looking for around £18 million.
It’s been claimed recently that Inter Milan are also in the picture.
The player and club are both in agreement that the best thing would be for him to move on, and it remains to be seen if that exit will come next month.
Firpo winding up at Molineux would be a bit of a surprise given the amount of left-sided options available to Nuno.
Wolves signed Fernando Marcal, and loaned in Rayan Ait-Nouri in the summer so a swoop for Firpo would be very surprising.
There is also Jonny Castro Otto to come back into the picture eventually.
The only reason Nuno might want Firpo is to perhaps deploy him as a left-sided attacker rather than as a wing-back.
The 24-year-old is no stranger to playing as a left-winger, and it could be that Nuno wants to have another left-footed player in attack, with Pedro Neto the only option at the moment.
