It is very possible Wolves will be needing a big January transfer window given how the season has started.
Wolves have lost all five of their Premier League matches so far, and everything is pointing to a season of struggle.
Vitor Pereira did a terrific job last term, but now has a much weaker squad after key players departed.
Pereira had hoped to get Wolves finishing in and around mid-table. But that really does seem like a tall order, with most fans only seeing a relegation battle on the horizon.
Wolves brought in six new players in the summer.
And one of those new recruits was a striker in Tolu Arokodare.
But before Arokodare, there were persistent links to Wallace Yan of Flamengo, and there has now been a suggestion that Wolves are still keen.
Wolves still keen on Wallace Yan

In the end, Wolves did not make a move for Wallace, who signed a new contract with Flamengo.
Flamengo had always wanted to tie him down, and a new £52 million release clause is apparently now in place for overseas clubs.
Wolves, of course, would not be going anywhere near that clause.
But according to Bolavip, there remains interest from the club in the South American talent, who has been struggling for minutes recently.
It is stated at the top of the article that Wallace is actually interested in Wolves, and a possible January offer from Wanderers is mooted.
Wolves’ league position may dictate transfer window
A January move for Wallace feels unlikely, as Wolves now have two strikers in Jorgen Strand Larsen and Arokodare, with Hwang Hee-chan also able to operate up top.
Wolves would also need to free up a non-homegrown player slot in order to register Wallace.
Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

16 | 5 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 5 | 8 | -3 | 4 | |

There is also the notion that Wolves may struggle to attract promising players in January if they are languishing in the relegation zone.
He could also simply be out of Wolves’ price range, so any swoop for Wallace in the next window would be a major surprise.
