Vitor Pereira has just three weeks to go until Wolves’ first game of the 2025/26 Premier League season against Manchester City.
Fans are currently quite nervous for the upcoming campaign, with only two new players having come in this summer.
Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias are the only additions up to now.
Marc Pubill had been set to sign for Wolves, but that deal was hijacked at the eleventh hour by Atletico Madrid.
But a host of players have already left the club, so fans are extremely keen for these next few weeks to be all about new players actually coming in.
But there could yet be more outgoings, and there has now been a fresh claim about Goncalo Guedes.
Wolves place Goncalo Guedes on transfer list amid interest from Besiktas

Goncalo Guedes has been a lively figure in Wolves’ pre-season so far.
The Portuguese forward stayed at Wolves summer and went on to spend the whole campaign with the club, which was something of a surprise.
Because previously, it had been claimed that Guedes had not wanted to be at Wolves.
But there has always been speculation surrounding him, and yesterday Turkish outlet Fotomac claimed that Wolves have decided to put Guedes on the transfer list.
This decision comes after the club sign Arias from Fluminense recently. In theory, the Colombian is a direct rival to Guedes for regular minutes.
It is even claimed that Besiktas have made a loan offer for Guedes, with a buy option of £9.6 million.
Besiktas, it’s claimed, are currently waiting on Wolves’ response.

Goncalo Guedes recently hinted at Wolves stay
This is quite a bold claim from Fotomac, and if there is any truth in that loan-to-buy offer then Wolves ought to turn it down.
That would not help Wolves whatsoever. If Guedes is going to go, then he should be sold so Wolves can reinvest that money now.
But the notion of Guedes actually leaving this summer was downplayed by the player himself recently.

Guedes spoke about his future, and hinted he’s not really looking to depart Wolves at the moment. He said: “All the people are very nice and this is the most important. Last season, I came after 10 days or 15 days. But now I’ve done everything, all the pre-season, and I think it’s very important for me.
“I’ve had two difficult years, because I had two surgeries to my knee, and now after the last season, I think I feel very well, very confident. I think this season will be a good season for me.”
Wolves, of course, could still look to cash in on Guedes despite these comments.
But surely Fosun aren’t about to sanction a loan move with a paltry buy option of £9.6 million.
