Wolves are seen as an option for a stagnating Borussia Dortmund youngster by super agent Jorge Mendes this month.
Gary O’Neil has explained his desire to sign a striker in this window, with the departure of Sasa Kalajdzic leaving him short in numbers – despite admitting that 18-year-old gem Nathan Fraser is an option.
However, upfront isn’t the only position that Wolves have been linked with strengthening, as a series of creative winger/attacking midfielders have been linked.
Said Benrahma has been linked a few times with Wolves in a battle against multiple other sides.
Meanwhile, a loan move for Liverpool starlet Fabio Carvalho was looked at by Wolves before Liverpool sent him to Hull City for game time.
Now, another has been linked but this time, it’s the agent seeking out Wolves which gives us reason to be excited.

Jorge Mendes views Wolves as an option for Giovanni Reyna
ESPN has reported that USA international Giovanni Reyna is set to leave Borussia Dortmund in January. Furthermore, Dortmund’s young American has already been offered to several top European clubs.
These include Marseille, Monaco and Lyon in France; Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Villarreal in Spain; along with Portugal’s Benfica.
Super agent Jorge Mendes has also listed Wolves along with Nottingham Forest as English destinations as he holds close ties with both.
He will make his decision over the next two weeks and the winning side will pay in the region of £12.8m for the 21-year-old.
His departure is likely down to the fact his minutes will be even further limited by the fact Jadon Sancho has joined BVB on loan.
Should Wolves sign Reyna?
Reyna has struggled for minutes at Dortmund, but this shouldn’t deter Wolves, with the American a really solid player.
In the 231 minutes he’s played he hasn’t registered a single Bundesliga goal or assist, but looking beyond that there are some impressive stats according to FotMob.
Per 90, Reyna is a different animal as he is in the 91st percentile for expected assists, 100th for successful passes, 94th for chances created (2.73 per 90) along with being in the 95th percentile for dribble success.
So despite a small sample size, it’s hard to argue against a Wolves move for him.
