Wolves have been linked with a move for Porto defender David Carmo – and now there is word on how much he would cost.
Wolves could well be in for a new centre-half this summer, with speculation rife about the future of captain Max Kilman.
He is a target for West Ham United, who are expected to make a formal approach for him soon. The Hammers have long admired Kilman, and they are now managed by Julen Lopetegui, who obviously knows all about the player’s qualities.
Wolves also need to be thinking about long-term replacements for Craig Dawson, who is not getting any younger at 33.
Recently, it was suggested that David Carmo could be someone Wolves move for, after an impressive loan stint at Olympiacos.
Today, a claim has been made regarding how much Porto would want for him.
Wolves learn David Carmo asking price amid Kilman speculation

Carmo spent the second half of last season on loan at Olympiacos, who would like to sign the player permanently.
He impressed for the Greek giants, and was ultimately named in the Europa Conference League Team of the Season, along with Wolves winger Daniel Podence.
Porto are open to selling the Angola international – and a report has now suggested how much the Portuguese giants would want for him.
Apparently, according to A Bola, they are holding out for at least £15 million. So far, they have not received any offers around that figure for the 24-year-old.
Olympiacos are keen to re-sign him, but the publication say that currently, ‘all scenarios are open’.
Interestingly, it is stated that Porto currently have their eye on Mika Faye from Barcelona. A sale of Carmo would aid them in bringing the Senegalese starlet.

So Wolves will have to pay at least £15 million if they want to sign Carmo – and that does not seem like a huge fee for someone who could be really well suited to the Premier League.
The ‘imposing’ star is physically dominant and not too bad on the ball either, as evidenced by his 84.9% pass completion rate in the league last season.
The issue for Wolves is that Carmo is very appreciated by Olympiacos for what he did while on loan there, and obviously he won the Europa Conference League.
Potentially, they could be a strong rival in any transfer chase.
That said, money always talks. If Wolves happen to cash in on Kilman, then they will surely be in a good position to potentially sign Carmo, who would make a decent replacement for his fellow left-footer.
