Wolves are in the market for late additions in the January transfer window – and there is now a link to a new midfielder.
Wolves fans are crying out for new signings with the club currently on a four-game losing streak in the Premier League.
Wolves have slipped back into the relegation zone after losing to Arsenal, and fans are growing increasingly concerned about the current state of affairs.
After that defeat to Arsenal, Vitor Pereira stated he was confident that new signings would be made – but Wolves fans know to know get their hopes up.
A new midfielder could well be on the agenda, with Mario Lemina wanting to leave Wolves.
Wolves were recently stung by failing to sign Manu Silva, who opted to join Benfica.
But today, it’s been reported that Wolves are looking at a midfielder who has previously won the Premier League title.
Wolves, Leicester and Leeds considering Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain transfer

It’s been suggested by The Sun that both Wolves and relegation rivals Leicester City have been monitoring the availability of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been playing over in Turkey with Besiktas since leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2023.
The 31-year-old has clocked up 36 appearances for the club so far, scoring five goals and making one assist.
Wolves are said to believe his versatility and top-flight experience could be vital in their bid to stave off relegation.
Leeds United are also mentioned as being keen.
What Jurgen Klopp has said about Oxlade-Chamberlain
Oxlade-Chamberlain is a player known for not having the greatest injury record.
The star is 31 and has played just 303 games at club level in his career, which isn’t too many considering he broke through to Southampton’s first-team at the age of 16.
That said, he was a player former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp absolutely adored.
He said of the midfielder when he signed a new contract in 2019 (via liverpoolfc.com): “When I heard Ox had signed his new contract with us, I am sure my emotions were the same as every Liverpool fan hearing the news tonight – absolutely delighted.
“This is because an absolutely outstanding player and person has shown his belief and commitment to our project here and it’s a deal I think makes sense on both sides.
“I think Ox has said himself it feels to him like he has been here a lot longer than he actually has and that is something I would agree with. I think that’s down to his personality around the place here at Melwood. I have said in the past, one of the best things about him is what an outstanding human being he is, one of the nicest guys you will meet. Of course, he is also an outstandingly talented footballer, too.”
Despite this glowing reference from Klopp, this particular transfer link isn’t likely to go down too well with the Wolves faithful.
