After months of speculation, Wolves may have found a positive resolution to the future of striker Fabio Silva.
Silva enjoyed a productive campaign on loan at Las Palmas last term, surpassing double figures for goals in La Liga.
But despite impressing in Spain, Wolves have always had no intention of keeping Silva, who has attracted a raft of European interest.
The 23-year-old has always outlined his ambition of playing in European competition, but sadly, Wolves’ £25 million valuation of Silva has scared clubs off in negotiations.
Luckily, an emerging update on the Portuguese centre-forward suggests his nightmare at Molineux could be approaching an end.

Roma want to sign Fabio Silva on loan with an obligation to buy
Molineux News understood that the Bundesliga was a likely destination for Silva, following previous interest from Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund.
Earlier this week, Roma showed their admiration for Silva, along with German clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are moving forward in their pursuit of the Portugal under-21 international, with the report claiming that the Italian side want to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy.
This is great news for Wolves, who could let him leave on loan to the Serie A for a season before selling him next summer.
It could mean there’s a possibility that Silva leaves before Wolves kick off their campaign against Manchester City on August 16, having most likely played his final game for the club.
Wolves would save a lot of money on Silva
A £25m asking price for Silva was seen as too high and clubs weren’t willing to pay it. However, a loan deal with an obligation to buy for around £15 million would suit both parties.
The 2002-born striker has endured a horrific time at Molineux, only finding the net five times in 72 appearances.
And although Silva has looked decent in pre-season, there is an acceptance that he must move on, especially due to the amount Wolves have wasted on him.
According to Capology, the former Porto man earns £80,000-per-week, and that ranks him as the second highest earner in the Wolves squad, behind only Goncalo Guedes.
It means the Old Gold would be saving over £4 million in wages by getting him off the books, and that is one major reason why a transfer to Roma has to come to fruition.
