There remains a strong desire at Wolves to sign several more players ahead of the 2025/26 season – and the club have apparently now made contact to sign a striker.
Wolves are now in the thick of their pre-season, and so far only two new players have signed for the club this summer, with only one joining the group up to now.
Fer Lopez arrived from Celta Vigo a month ago and accompanied the squad out in Portugal.
Jhon Arias signed for Wolves from Fluminense last week, and will soon link up with the squad.
Vitor Pereira is desperate for more new faces though, with the new season now just weeks away.
It is thought that as many as four or five more new signings could be made, and one position that is on the agenda is a new striker.
With Fabio Silva set to leave Wolves permanently, Wolves are in the market to sign cover and competition for Jorgen Strand Larsen – and contact has now been made for Mihailo Ivanovic.
Wolves make contact with Millwall to sign Mihailo Ivanovic, but there’s one fear

According to TEAMtalk, Wolves have now made an enquiry to Millwall over their striker Mihailo Ivanovic.
Ivanovic was suggested as a potential target for Wolves recently, after the star impressed last term in the Championship.
Ivanovic, who is still only 20, caught the eye by scoring 13 times in 41 appearances across all competitions – and his exploits have now alerted other clubs.
Wolves seem ready to act on their interest and are suggested to have now made contact with Millwall.
But there is one potential stumbling block right now for Wolves – and it won’t come as too much of a shock.
Millwall have slapped a £15 million asking price on Ivanovic, and Wolves fear they will be priced out of a transfer.
TEAMtalk add that Millwall feel ‘confident’ of keeping Ivanovic.
Wolves could land a gem in Ivanovic

Wolves’ interest in Ivanovic is very interesting indeed, because this is a player who has the potential to become a top striker.
Ivanovic wowed last season with his haul of goals in what is famously a very tough league.
To come in and score 12 as a 20-year-old in the Championship (plus one in the FA Cup) clearly shows he has something about him.
Arguably, he would be the right kind of player for Wolves to go for.
Strand Larsen is the main striker at Wolves and will likely start every game he’s available for. So whoever comes in needs to be comfortable playing a supporting role.

Ivanovic, described as ‘an absolute handful’ by Alex Neil at the start of this year (via Southwark News) – is still only 20 and could potentially be good in the back-up striker role, and perhaps start a few games here and there.
At the moment though, it is sounding like Wolves don’t like the £15 million asking price, so we’ll see if there can be a negotiation.
But Millwall have only had him for a year meaning they could be unlikely to budge, potentially making this quite tricky.
