Christos Mandas has been on Wolves’ radar for quite some time, and it remains to be seen if they move in for him in January.
Fosun are set to back Rob Edwards in January, and the Old Gold desperately need more quality in the squad.
Christos Mandas is certainly one option for the upcoming window, with Patrick Mercado also emerging as a potential signing.
However, when it comes to Mandas, Wolves have learned how they can secure his signing ahead of the transfer window opening.
Which position do Wolves need to prioritise in January?
Lazio’s asking price for Wolves target Christo Mandas revealed

Christos Mandas looks to be on his way out at Lazio, with Ivan Provedel maintaining the number one spot at the Italian club.
The Greek goalkeeper wants more game time, and according to journalist Ben Jacobs, he will be allowed to leave in January for around £10 million to £12 million.
In the summer, Wolves tried to sign the ‘keeper, but a £17 million bid was rejected by Lazio.
At the time, the Rome-based club were in the midst of a transfer ban and did not wish to lose any of their squad players on the cheap.
With that ban set to cease, Lazio are now allowing the 24-year-old to leave, and the Old Gold are considering moving back in for him, according to Jacobs.
Reports last week out of Italy said Wolves had already sent a loan with an option to buy offer to Lazio.
If Wolves had previously valued him at £17 million, being able to sign him for a much lower fee will be appealing.
Fans will be hoping the January window is much more successful than the summer, and Mandas will make an instant impact if signed.
Who has been Wolves’ best signing this season?
However, that would mean a longstanding member of the squad would likely have to leave.
Jose Sa would surely leave Wolves if Christos Mandas is signed

If Wolves do move for Christos Mandas, the logical assumption would be that Jose Sa would make way.
Jose Sa is currently in his fifth season at Molineux, where he has recently lost his spot as Wolves’ number one.
The Old Gold do not have room for any more foreign players in their squad, and with Dan Bentley and Sam Johnstone both being homegrown, the Portuguese player is the likely one to miss out.
If he is told he will not be included in the Premier League squad list after the January window, that could see the club and player look to cut ties.
