Wolves could end up having a busy January transfer window, with the latest name to be linked being Victor Nelsson.
Wolves are a side in desperate need of some reinforcements in January, with suspensions and injuries disrupting the team selection of Gary O’Neil.
The most alarming is an issue which became apparent on Monday night for the Molineux side, with the depth at centre-half highlighted in Craig Dawson‘s absence.
Playing a back three means a squad probably needs three top class centre-halves, but Wolves only have three with Santi Bueno still adapting.
Therefore, the latest player to be credited with interest from Wolves makes a lot of sense.

Victor Nelsson to Wolves transfer links
The report comes according to Aksam in Turkey who have reported that Galatasaray’s Victor Nelsson is a target for Wolves in January.
The report states that due to the defender not planning on signing a new contract, Galatasaray are keen to get rid of him.
Therefore Wolves have reportedly ‘stepped in’ to sign the defender but will face competition from Spurs who have also been linked.
A deal however won’t be cheap at all despite all parties wanting a deal to happen, with other Premier League sides quoted £21.5m in the summer.
Nelsson could be the perfect Craig Dawson replacement
Nelsson is a player who before his desire to leave was common knowledge, was adored in Istanbul. He was lauded as a ‘Danish lion’ by Galatasaray board member Resit Omer Kukner.
Nelsson is right footed and a brave, strong defender similar to Dawson however Nelsson is also quick.
With Dawson 33 years old, O’Neil will need to be considering a replacement as few players can play at a high level in the Premier League into and beyond their mid 30s.
This being said Talking Wolves quickly refuted this rumour stating they had been told the interest wasn’t real. It is yet to be seen whether or not this is the case, but there is no denying he could be a proper good signing.
