Wolves are pressing on the accelerator in the summer transfer window, and supporters are hoping for several deals to be completed.
Although Wolves have missed out on Marc Pubill, their prime candidate to replace Nelson Semedo, Jhon Arias is having a medical ahead of a £19 million transfer to Molineux.
Arias will become their second signing of the summer after capturing Fer Lopez in June, and Vitor Pereira’s plans have only just started.
Wolves are targeting four key positions, including a right wing-back to succeed Semedo, a left wing-back to replace Rayan Ait-Nouri, a midfielder to offer competition for Andre and Joao Gomes, as well as a striker to support Jorgen Strand Larsen.
A centre-forward is firmly on the agenda with the prospect of Fabio Silva, Goncalo Guedes, Sasa Kalajdzic and Hwang Hee-chan all leaving the club, and Wolves could have found someone for the long term.

Wolves join Man United in the race to sign FC Metz striker Idrissa Gueye
On Wednesday, it was reported that Wolves want to sign Mika Biereth, the former Arsenal striker who has become a lethal finisher at Monaco.
Biereth would set Fosun back a whopping £40 million, making a deal impossible to do, and that is why Pereira has alternatives on his shopping list.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, Wolves are a contender to sign FC Metz striker Idrissa Gueye this summer, and they’re joined in the race by Premier League rivals Manchester United and West Ham while Italian side Parma and Champions League outfit Borussia Dortmund have also registered an interest.
Gueye, who is just 18-years-old, arrived at Ligue 2 side Metz from the Generation Foot Academy in 2025, and multiple clubs have been tracking his progress ever since.
The Senegalese centre-forward has caught the eye in the French second division with five goals in 17 appearances, with Gueye named the ‘rising star’ in Ligue 2 during March.
L’Equipe have claimed that Metz have placed an asking price of €20 million (£17.3 million) on their prized asset. Though it remains to be seen which clubs are willing to trigger that valuation, especially given his lack of experience at senior level.
Gueye would become the third Senegalese player to play for Wolves
Metz were promoted back to Ligue 1 last term after defeating Stade Reims in the play-off. Gueye can now test himself in the top division of French football or make a big-money move early in his career.
Should Wolves become the destination he selects, then he will become only the third Senegalese player to represent the Old Gold after Alfred N’Diaye and Henri Camara.
N’Diaye made 37 appearances for Wolves during the 2017/18 Championship campaign after joining on loan from Villarreal, while Camara featured 32 times for the club between 2003 and 2005.
The latter remains the only player from Senegal to feature for the Wanderers in the Premier League, with Gueye having a chance to become the second.
