Wolves fans are expecting some more new faces in the coming days.
The club landed Rodrigo Gomes, Pedro Lima and Jorgen Strand Larsen earlier this summer, but have been very quiet since the start of July.
It has been reported that Wolves are only set to spend around £20 million in these final days of the window, despite the big-money sales of Pedro Neto and Max Kilman.
The club are mindful of their financial position and ultimately, Fosun are keen for the club to become self-sustaining.
Matt Hobbs is currently working away behind the scenes and the hope is that at least two more newbies will arrive.
Tonight, there has been a link to a new defensive target.
Wolves interested in Burnley defender Dara O’Shea

According to a report from The Telegraph, Wolves are now showing interest in centre-back Dara O’Shea of Burnley.
O’Shea has been with the Clarets since last summer, having joined them from Wolves’ bitter rivals West Bromwich Albion.
O’Shea had spent three seasons in the first-team at the Hawthorns after joining the club’s academy in 2015.
He made 37 appearances for Burnley last season across all competitions, with 33 of those coming in the Premier League. Of course, the Clarets suffered relegation under Vincent Kompany.
But O’Shea, who has also been linked with Brentford, caught the eye despite a poor campaign for Burnley as a collective. In January, Kompany stated that O’Shea had been a strong performer for him, and talked up his leadership qualities (via Burnley Express).
When O’Shea signed for Burnley, Kompany described him as being ‘strong at the back as well as confident moving forward’ and ‘a leader with experience and knowledge of playing at the highest level’.
O’Shea is also a Republic of Ireland international, having accrued 26 caps for his country. That makes him an international teammate of current Wolves star Matt Doherty.
Time is of the essence for Wolves
Wolves do not have much time remaining to get new players into the club.
Matt Hobbs has done terrific work in his role as sporting director so far, and he now faces potentially a very hectic week.
Gary O’Neil needs a couple more players. And there are also players who he needs to move on.
Wolves fans will hope he is able to pull a few things out of the bag. The budget isn’t big right now, but hopefully some solid additions can still be made.
