Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen is the subject of transfer interest, and now there is word of an asking price.
The Norway international has been a big talking point in recent days, following Wolves’ defeat to Brentford.
After missing a penalty and drawing more criticism, Strand Larsen was then linked with West Ham United, who have made contact regarding a January move.
Do you expect JSL to still be a Wolves player by the end of January?
The Norwegian is now wanted by West Ham, amongst others… 👀
It was then suggested that Everton are among the teams to have been monitoring Strand Larsen.
One suspects that the striker will continue to be in the headlines now leading into the January transfer window, especially with Wolves reportedly targeting a number nine.
And now, there is word of a valuation from Wolves.
How much Wolves want for Jorgen Strand Larsen

Of course in the summer, Strand Larsen was the subject of interest from Newcastle United, who made two bids.
Those bids were worth £50 million and £55 million, but Wolves would not sell.
A third bid had been anticipated but never came, and Strand Larsen then signed a new contract.
Going into January, similar offers are highly unlikely due to the season he and Wolves have had, but the club are still seeking around £40 million according to the Guardian.
Will Wolves get £40m for Strand Larsen or is that wishful thinking? 👀
The asking price has been reported amid interest from West Ham…
West Ham, it’s claimed, have a limited budget though. And they currently feel that is too expensive, for a player who has scored just one Premier League goal this season.
But West Ham have previous for paying Wolves £40 million for a player.
In the summer of 2024, the Hammers bought Max Kilman for that same fee. Wolves were widely praised for that sale.

£40m might be wishful thinking
Wolves seem open to selling Strand Larsen, but an asking price of £40 million is certainly high, for a player having a season as poor as he is.
Of course, a number of teams are interested in signing Wolves’ number nine, so perhaps ultimately someone will offer near that amount.
But it does seem wishful thinking at the moment.
But if Wolves did manage to sell, then that money would be very helpful in instigating a rebuild.
