Wolves have offer ‘planned’ for another La Liga star as well as Ladislav Krejčí

Vitor Pereira’s cry for more signings has seemed to work, as Fosun look to have escalated their efforts in the transfer market.

Much was said of Wolves’ business this summer, and even Pep Guardiola weighed in on the situation following Manchester City’s 4-0 win at Molineux.

It was clear Vitor Pereira needed more players, and not just extra names, but quality ones as well.

Jackson Tchatchoua arrived not long after the City game, and work for defender Ladislav Krejčí is advanced.

The midfield, however, is another area that is in need of reinforcements, and Wolves appear to have located a target and are ready to pounce.

Wolves increase efforts to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casadó

Wolves are the team that is ‘pushing hardest’ to sign Barcelona player Marc Casadó, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari.

The Old Gold face a lot of competition for the talented midfielder, with interested parties seemingly growing.

Olympique Marseille are the latest side to join the race, but Wolves reportedly have an offer ‘planned’ and ready to send to Barcelona.

Como, Real Betis, and multiple Premier League sides are interested, according to earlier reports. However, it looks like Vitor Pereira is hoping to beat the competition to Casadó’s signature.

Barcelona are currently not desperate to sell, but the club have said that his minutes are likely to be limited this year, opening the door to a departure.

Marc Casadó will be difficult deal for Wolves to complete

Unfortunately for Wolves, a deal for Marc Casadó could prove really difficult.

Journalist Santi Ovalle revealed on Wednesday that despite the Spanish club being open to a sale, the player himself doesn’t want to leave, saying, ‘the player’s opinion is to stay.’

While Casadó is a deal that Wolves are hoping to complete, they are not standing still when waiting to see if they can convince him.

Work on other targets seems to be underway, with Carlos Soler eyed up as a midfield target as well, showing the club are doing their due diligence in the window.

It could be a busy few days for Wolves fans, who have been calling out for higher quality signings. Both Vitor Pereira and the Old Gold supporters will be thinking better late than never.
