Wolves are already thinking about the summer transfer window, with one player’s future recently discussed.
Vitor Pereira will be eager to put his stamp on the Wolves squad in the summer market, just as he did in January.
Wolves’ January transfer window was a success, welcoming the likes of Emmanuel Agbadou and Marshall Munetsi, who have both become first-team regulars.
Already, Wolves have been linked to several players ahead of the end of the season, one of which represents the idea of letting history repeat itself.

Wolves learn Riquelme Fillipi transfer stance
In 2023, Wolves signed Joao Gomes from Flamengo at the age of 21.
The £15m paid for Gomes turned out to be a bargain, and now, Wolves could repeat the success of purchasing from the Brazilian market.
Wolves have been linked to Riquelme Fillipi of Palmeiras, an 18-year-old forward who is tearing things up in Brazil at U20 level.
While Fillipi has been described as a ‘skilful’ player for Wolves to target, there are some reservations over purchasing the teen, which have been noted in a recent update.
Brazilian outlet Nosso Palestra mentioned the Old Gold’s interest in the starlet, noting that Wolves have ‘signalled’ that they will make a £5m offer, but when that will be is up for debate.
That’s because Palmeiras are reportedly eager to keep Fillipi in their ranks for ‘at least one more season’ to better develop the talent.
Nosso Palestra understand that Palmeiras’ wish is to utilise the striker in the first team before letting him depart, but that doesn’t rule out negotiations with Wolves.
If Wolves were to make an ‘irresistible’ offer for the starlet, the Brazilian club could still let the youngster fly the nest; however, alarm bells are sounding over whether such would be too soon.
Letting Fillipi develop in Brazil is a good idea
Though Wolves found great success in signing Gomes from Flamengo, and then by signing Andre from Fluminense, Fillipi’s situation is different.
Gomes and Andre were rivals in Brazil, playing at the top level for their respective clubs, something Fillipi is yet to do.

In the Premier League, we’ve seen this season how detrimental a hasty move can be for a young player from South America, as former Wolves target Luis Guilherme has failed at West Ham.
Though Fillipi has shown fine form this season at Palmeiras, the 18-year-old has yet to venture into the senior XI.
The decision will be a fascinating one for both clubs to make, with there being an argument for both teams and, of course, what the player considers to be best for his budding career.
