Wolves are said to have absolutely ‘no plans’ to cash in one Rayan Ait-Nouri – but two other Molineux stars could ‘possibly’ be on their way.
Ait-Nouri has just enjoyed a fantastic season with Wolves, having established himself as a firm favourite under Gary O’Neil.
Ait-Nouri had found himself by the wayside under Julen Lopetegui and had missed a handful of squads towards the end of the 2022/23 season.
There was speculation he could have been on his way out. But Lopetegui leaving and O’Neil coming in was the catalyst for his renaissance at Molineux.
After such a brilliant campaign, Ait-Nouri has been the subject of speculation over the last few weeks. But Wolves fans can take heart from what journalist Liam Keen has said in a new video.
Wolves have ‘no plans’ to sell Ait-Nouri, but Max Kilman and Pedro Neto are both possible outgoings

Ait-Nouri has reportedly had a number of clubs in his tail over the past few weeks and months.
Previously, there have been links to Manchester City and Liverpool, with the Reds potentially in need of a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.
The links to these big clubs are certainly warranted.
Ait-Nouri was so impressive last term, and also showed a lot of versatility at times when he was pushed higher up the field by O’Neil.
He is coveted. But the intention is clear for Wolves. Liam Keen said on Shots TV: “They are going to lose at least one player for a big fee. It’s very likely that player, at least one of them, maybe both, will be Pedro Neto or Max Kilman.
“Neto will have lots of suitors. He’s done OK as well at the Euros, he’s got himself back playing and fit again. Very good player. Max Kilman has got a lot of interest already and there’s clubs pushing to sign him. I think one, possibly both, will go and will give Wolves a little more wiggle room to bring in more players.
“And you look at someone like Ait-Nouri. There’s been figures thrown around from £30-£35 to £40 million. There’s no plans to sell Rayan Ait-Nouri. I think if they can allow Neto or Kilman or both to go and reinvest in the squad, that’s Wolves’ stance and they’re probably happy with that. They don’t want to lose Ait-Nouri, they’ve got no plans to lose him.
“Obviously if a big offer comes in and they have to consider it, they will. But as it stands, they’re not planning to lose that player.”
Keen added that it would take ‘a hell of a lot more’ than the recent £30-35 million suggestions for Wolves to sell Ait-Nouri.
A fascinating summer awaits
It is going to be so interesting to see which of these three players will leave the club this summer.
Currently, it looks as though Kilman is the most likely to depart, given the sheer amount of reports in the last week.
Neto is currently at the Euros so it has been understandably quiet about the Portuguese winger.
From what Keen has said, Ait-Nouri – who joined Wolves for £10 million – seems the least likely ‘big’ sale for Wolves of the three players mentioned. But as we know, this is the transfer window and it’s not out of the question a club could come in with a huge offer for the Algerian.
But Wolves are in a good position, unlike last summer. The club aren’t under financial restrictions and don’t have PSR worries.
Player sales will be made because the money brought in can then be reinvested into the squad.
