Wolves are looking to finish the January transfer window strongly, and it looks like one defender is set to come in today.
Wolves were stung after missing out on Kevin Danso, who joined Tottenham Hotspur.
But the club are looking to get Vitor Pereira his second centre-back addition of the window.
A few other names have been mentioned, but it seems as though Red Star Belgrade ace Nasser Djiga is the player Wolves are really set on.
It was reported yesterday that Wolves could move for Djiga on deadline day.
Earlier today, Wolves tabled a bid for Djiga.
And there is now some good news for the club.
Wolves have agreed a deal for Nasser Djiga

It has been reported by Alex Crook in the last hour that Wolves have now reached an agreement with Red Star to sign Nasser Djiga.
The £10 million bid that was sent has been accepted, and Wolves must now finalise personal terms.
But there is potentially one slight concern for Wolves, and that is that several other clubs are still at the table.
Crook reports on X: “Busy #DeadlineDay for #Wolves.
“Believe they have agreed a £10m fee with Red Star Belgrade for defender Nasser Djiga. But not the only club at the table. Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi is also set to undergo a medical today.”

Wolves must not allow Danso repeat with Djiga
So Wolves have now seen a bid accepted for Djiga, which is good news.
But the fact that there are still other clubs at the table is a little concerning.
We all saw how Danso was ALL set to come to Wolves, before ending up at another club.
Thankfully the scenario here is admittedly slightly different, with Wolves having seemingly reached an agreement with Red Star on their initial asking price. Wolves did agree on a deal with Lens for Danso, but only to take the player on loan, with Tottenham then stealing in with a permanent bid.
But it’s not out of the question another club could match Wolves’ bid. So Wanderers must now sell their project to the player and get the deal over the line.
