Wolves remain in the market for a new right wing-back, and the club have apparently been offered a player from the Championship.
Nelson Semedo recently confirmed his exit from Wolves after a long wait, and the club have been actively searching for a successor.
Ki-Jana Hoever is in contention for minutes this season after featuring prominently in pre-season.
But Wolves still searching for a new player suggests Vitor Pereira is not looking to lean on the Dutchman as his main pick.
Wolves came close to landing Marc Pubill a few weeks ago, but saw the move hijacked by Atletico Madrid.
And more recently, Wolves looked to sign Juanlu Sanchez, but it now looks as though he’ll sign for Napoli.
Wolves continue to try and find a successor for Semedo – and it’s now been claimed that Wolves have been offered Coventry City star Milan van Ewijk.
Wolves offered Coventry City star Milan van Ewijk

Some Wolves fans have doubts about Hoever after recent showings in pre-season, and would really like the club to swoop for a new right wing-back quickly.
It’s starting to look like Hoever will be starting against Manchester City though in that first Premier League game at Molineux.
But it’s not out of the question another Dutchman could be playing instead of Hoever, with the Daily Mail suggesting that Coventry’s Milan van Ewijk has been offered to Wolves.
It’s stated that Wolves like the player and he’s on their list of options. However, the Daily Mail claim other options are currently ahead of him on that list.
It is unclear at this stage who is above him.
But van Ewijk would not come too cheap, despite him playing in the second tier. The Daily Mail reported in another article last week that Coventry valued him at around £15 million.
But recently Wolves have been linked with Julian Ryerson, who could potentially be one name who’s above him.
Frank Lampard is a big fan of Wolves target van Ewijk
Coventry narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League, after losing to Sunderland in the play-off semi-final at Wembley.
It was shame for them, as they had a really good season – and van Ewijk was one of the standout performers in the campaign.
Making 51 appearances and playing a whopping 4487 minutes, van Ewijk was practically ever-present for Coventry, and also chipped in with two goals and four assists.
He was a player Frank Lampard really likes. After Coventry lost the first leg of their semi-final to Sunderland, the manager said of van Ewijk, who had made a rare mistake in the game (via Coventry Observer): “I’ll speak to him, it’s football, he’s been brilliant for us this season.
“He’s been absolutely amazing, he plays every game and has had a fantastic season for us.
“Mistakes happen in football.”
Although he’s seemingly not a top target for Wolves, perhaps it’s still a situation to watch.
However, it was recently claimed by Florian Plettenberg that Wolfsburg have held talks over signing van Ewijk, so if Wolves did want to bring him in then they’d potentially have to move quickly.
