Wolves are set for a very intense next few days in the transfer window, with uncertainty over the future of striker Jorgen Strand Larsen while the club seek to make additions.
Newcastle are to bid for a third time for Strand Larsen, after seeing two offers turned down already.
But Wolves are expected to reject the third bid, and it’s been claimed today that Wolves intend to stand firm, despite Strand Larsen informing Jeff Shi he wants to go.
Meanwhile, Wolves are in the market for new additions.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Wolves were planning to bid for Genk striker Tolu Arokodare.
And now there has been another claim about the Nigeria international.
Tolu Arokodare has gentleman’s agreement to leave Genk amid Wolves interest

It is shaping up to be a frantic finish to the transfer window and there seems a decent possibility that Wolves will sign Tolu Arokodare.
He has emerged as a target for Wolves, and an interesting clarification was made about the club’s pursuit of him earlier today.
Arokodare would not be signed as a replacement for Strand Larsen, rather, he would be cover and competition.
Journalist Buchi Laba has reported that Arokodare actually has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Genk to leave the club this summer, if an offer arrives between €20-€25 million (£17.2-£21.6m).
His preference is to move to the Premier League.
Keep Strand Larsen, sign Arokodare
Everything is still up in the air at the moment for Wolves, but the ideal scenario is that the club keep hold of Strand Larsen, and sign Arokodare.
It has been a bad summer for Wolves, but there is a chance to salvage the window in the final days.

Arokodare would be a really positive move. He scored 23 goals across all competitions last season. Granted the standard of the Belgian league doesn’t compare to the Premier League, but he is clearly still a player who knows where the goal is.
Fans would likely feel a lot better if Vitor Pereira’s pool of striker options consisted of Strand Larsen, Sasa Kalajdzic and Arokodare, with the exit-linked Hwang Hee-chan to stay as a potential option as well.
