Some Wolves fans have been reacting to a report’s claim about Hwang Hee-chan and Renato Sanches.

According to The Telegraph, the club are already looking to sign the South Korea international permanently.

There is a £14 million option to purchase the 25-year-old from RB Leipzig, and the plan had been to make a decision on that at the end of the season.

But it seems Wolves have been so impressed, they are already ready to trigger their option.

He has certainly given Wolves a big lift since he came to the Black Country.

So far, he’s scored four goals for the club, and his link-up play with Raul Jimenez has been excellent.

He looks to be a great finisher, and presses relentlessly which is something Bruno Lage values highly.

Getting that deal sorted in January would be great, and signing Sanches would also be a fantastic move.

It looked like it was going to happen in the summer, but the player’s injury scuppered the move in the end.

Wolves walked away, but Lage reportedly wants recruitment officials to reignite the interest.

Undoubtedly he would make a big difference to Wolves’ midfield.

Currently, no one has the capability to drive forwards with the ball. Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho are technicians, while Leander Dendoncker is a physical presence.

Unsurprisingly, the claim has gone down very well.

Hwang’s contributions so far have propelled him to early ‘crowd favourite’ status. Getting him signed up for a £14 million fee is something plenty of people can get behind.

And people love the idea of the club going back in for Sanches, who would be a unique option for Lage:
