Striker Fabio Silva remains on the books at Molineux, and Wolves fans are adamant one thing should not be allowed to happen with him.
Wolves have sanctioned plenty of exits so far this summer but perhaps surprisingly, Fabio Silva has not been one of them.
Several clubs have been interested in Silva, after he had a productive season over in Spain with Las Palmas in 2024/25.
It has been suggested that the Bundesliga is Silva’s most likely destination.
But in recent days, AS Roma have been plotting to sign Silva, whose exit from Wolves is apparently being handled by Jorge Mendes.
Roma are plotting a loan move with an obligation to buy Silva according to one new report.
And on social media, a lot of Wolves fans have had the same reaction to that claim.
Fans urge Wolves not to loan Fabio Silva and instead sell him now

The narrative has long been that Silva will leave Wolves permanently this summer.
That said, he has been a visible presence in Wolves’ pre-season so far, with some taking that as a sign that it’s not out of the question he could yet stay.
The deal has to be right for Wolves, but Roma feel there could be a chance of getting the player on loan first, with an obligation later down the line.
On the face of it, an obligation would be good in the sense that Wolves would definitely have some money coming in.
But on social media, some fans have suggested that Wolves need money to spend now, in this window, and should not entertain the idea of another loan for Silva.
@ShillyingShally: “Reject it. We need money up front. Not a loan where they decide they don’t want him and it ends up being another year off his contract and worth even less in the market.”
@Christi44825018: “What the **** is this? Reject it immediately! Not even when he has one year left our board is able to sell him. Incredible…”
@andybullyuk: “No more loans. They want him they buy him. Biggest flop in a @Wolves shirt.”
@chriswolves95: “We need money to fund moves for other players now. That’s not good enough. Would rather use him than lose him for another year for nothing.”
@TomWWF_: “No just sell now I beg.”
Silva must be sold or played
Wolves simply must not sanction any move for Silva that won’t bring the club money immediately.
It’s high time Wolves got bullish in player negotiations. A loan move with obligation wouldn’t help Wanderers in the here and now.
Either he is sold now, or he is kept and played.
Given there has not really been a strong indication from Silva that he’d be willing to stay put, then a sale would be most ideal.
Given the number of clubs eyeing Silva at this moment in time, Wolves surely have to try and play them off against each other to try and sell at the best possible price.
