Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to an update on the Rui Patricio situation.

The Athletic reported yesterday that the goalkeeper is still being heavily linked with AS Roma.

But apparently no offer has arrived from the Italian outfit yet.

The publication has claimed that Wolves will actually offer Patricio a new deal if he remains at Molineux.

That would suggest the club don’t really want to lose the 33-year-old.

Journalist Tim Spiers added that Patricio has not been pushing for a move, nor have Wolves been pushing to sell.

A move will only happen at the right price and with the right replacement lined up.

It’s been claimed by Fabrizio Romano that Olympiacos star Jose Sa would replace Patricio in the event of a sale.
