Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to a fresh claim that Dion Sanderson could be sold for as little as £2 million this summer.
The Daily Mail have reported that Wolves and Sunderland are now in talks about a permanent move to the Stadium of Light for the 21-year-old.
Sanderson has become a key figure in the Black Cats’ promotion push, and has regularly come in for praise from fans and pundits alike since the start of 2021.

Apparently, Wolves are in conversation with the League One side about a permanent transfer.
There is no mention of any sell-on/buy-back clauses or add-ons.
It comes just days after Sanderson had actually talked up his desire to play for Wolves in the Premier League (Wolves official).
Quite a number of Wolves fans have been hoping Sanderson will be given a chance within the first-team next season.

The team has been poor at the back this season at times, and changes do need to be made this summer.
Some have hoped Sanderson will be promoted by Nuno Espirito Santo, so he can add to the one first-team appearance (against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup in 2019) he has made to date.
On social media, the Mail’s report has left some fans highly disappointed and hoping there is no truth to the claim:
Bit harsh

if they’re gonna sell, they could surely get more

I understand we need funds for the summer but he’d definitely not be one I’d sell
