Some Wolves fans have been reacting to a report that has claimed Adama Traore could still leave Molineux this month.
Eurosport have claimed the Spaniard’s future is still up in the air, and that Leeds United are still sniffing around the player having been linked in December.
Supposedly, Traore and the club are yet to come to an agreement over a new deal, which is prompting frustration for both parties.
Eurosport explain that Traore is keen to depart the club this month, and Wolves would be open to selling for a fee below £50 million, and would accept staggered payments from a suitor.
It’s also added that Traore is keen to be selected by Spain for this summer’s European Championships.
It’s been a frustrating start to the 2020/21 season for Traore, who is yet to contribute any goals or assists this season.
That said, he did win a penalty against Brighton at the weekend and put in arguably his best showing this term.
But he’s largely struggled, and his performances have reminded people of his first season at Molineux when his end product was very inconsistent.
At the moment, the 24-year-old is certainly way off the level he showed in 2019/20 when he was unplayable at times.
On social media, there was a fairly mixed reaction to the idea of Traore departing for a fee of under £50 million this month:
Man is still crucial for us, but selling him and getting a replacement would be a better option

What mean still? Have I missed something , but if money right let him go as long as we got replacements this time

if he is sold then it definitely shouldn’t be to a premier league club

We must keep him unconditionally.
The effect he brings is great.

If he wants to leave then we should let him, I don’t want a player who doesn’t wanna play for us no matter how good they are 🤷🏻♀️ https://t.co/XBtPyTk57F

Wouldn’t surprise me don’t look happy anymore and reluctance to sign a new contract says it all, the team seem to be going backwards and him leaving in my opinion would be a huge loss, most wolves fans don’t rate I’m strange

If and it’s a big call, he does want to leave we can’t sell him to another premier League club. It’ll always come back to haunt us

If he wants to go let him he’s too inconsistent 🐺⚽️🐺
