Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to a report that has claimed Arsenal are keen to land Ruben Neves.
The Times have stated that the Gunners hold an interest in the Portugal international.
It’s been reported previously that Wolves could cash in on Neves in the next transfer window in order to raise funds to boost their transfer kitty.
The Athletic have said Wolves expect to sell him and hope to receive around £35 million.
Midfield maestro Neves was arguably one of Wolves’ better players throughout 2020/21.
His general level was perhaps lower than in previous campaigns, but he, Pedro Neto and Adama Traore all stood up to be counted for at times in the second-half of the season.
That he could be offloaded this summer is upsetting to some Wolves fans, given his capabilities and potential.
On social media, fan have been reacting to the interest from Arsenal specifically:
That’s a massive step down, if moving he has to go for champions league teams. Worth £50m plus

Selling one of you best players to a rival is a terrible idea. This is a massive shout sacking the best manager in 40 years and selling your best midfielder – if we have a few uninspiring purchases and a bad run of fixtures Lage will be under huge pressure.

Put literally any other club’s name in there and I’d have taken it seriously https://t.co/lHbThnofxi
