Wolves fans react as Trincao is linked with Barcelona recall

Some Wolves fans have been reacting to claims yesterday that Xavi wants to recall Francisco Trincao from his loan spell.

The legendary former midfielder became the club’s new manager earlier this week, replacing Ronald Koeman who was sacked on October 27.

The 41-year-old is tasked with getting the club back on track after a poor start.

Barca currently sit ninth in the league table, 11 points behind leaders Real Sociedad.

Hopes are high that Xavi, one of the all-time great central midfielders, can enjoy as much success as a manager, as he did when he was a player.

There have already been lots of reports about Xavi’s plans.

Yesterday there was a claim that he wanted to bring Trincao back to the Nou Camp.

Trincao has made nine appearances for Wolves so far, and scored just one goal in the Carabao Cup.

Barcelona fans seem fairly keen for him to come back, but what is the view from a Wolves perspective?

It’s still early days for him in the Black Country though, and he could well flourish if given more chances.

Wolves fans, on the whole, seem keen for Trincao to stay at the club, amid claims Xavi wants him back in Spain:
