Wolves fans have been reacting to reports the club are interested in a move for Thomas Lemar from Atletico Madrid.

Le10 Sport have claimed that the French World Cup-winner is not in the plans of Diego Simeone, and that talks are on between the Black Country club and Atleti.

The former AS Monaco man has endured a bit of a nightmare at the Wanda Metropolitano since his reported £53 million move in 2018 – last term, he didn’t provide any goals or assists across all competitions.

Despite his bad recent form, Wolves are apparently interested, with Everton having recently pulled out of the race.

Before his sorry spell in Spain, Lemar was one of the most exciting players to watch in Ligue 1, linking up with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva at Monaco.

The 24-year-old has clearly lost his way, and could just be in need of a fresh start elsewhere.

Time is certainly on his side to get back to the level he showed in his homeland.

On social media, Wolves fans gave a largely positive reaction to the reported interest in Lemar.
